In early July, I finally decided that I needed a little help quitting smoking. The desire to quit was there, but I kept giving in to the cravings. The first place I called was Mind Matters, and had a great initial conversation with Dale. I called a couple other places and just DID NOT vibe with them, promptly called Dale back, and scheduled my two sessions.
I wanted to give a bit of time before I went writing any reviews even if I had such an awesome experience because I wanted to see how my results would hold up in times of duress. Two months later, I have been in almost every tempting situation (drinking, being with other smokers, in high stress, after meals, taking breaks from work, anything and everything I used to do with a cigarette in hand) and though cigarettes may cross my mind, it's usually something like,"this is what I used in a situation like this IN THE PAST," and I carry on. It's not even hard. I don't feel like I'm missing anything, and I'm so much better off without it.
Dale was a real pleasure to work with, and has a wealth of information on many topics. He's very open, a great conversationalist, and helps you to see what really drives your addiction. My life has improved in so many ways as a result of the mindfulness and awareness that comes with quitting smoking.
