Lisa Hubler from Mind Matters is amazing. I am so grateful I met Lisa. You never expect anything to be life-changing just one time, something so easy. Everyone wants the quick fix, but rarely do you find it. One session with Lisa has been THE MOST TRANSFORMATIONAL thing I have ever done and ever will do in my life. Everyone is different, and some people may need a few sessions to achieve the same results, however, just knowing your life could change in such a short amount of time is reason enough for anyone to meet with Lisa.
The point of these sessions is to deeply relax you. "Relaxation" is a word that is overused in our society, and everyone knows they need to relax, but don't realize how truly important it is. I had been doing yoga consistently for 4 or 5 months for 5 days a week. But just this one hour of deep relaxation changed everything. Right after the session, I felt so deeply relaxed I just wanted to dance and move around. You just feel so good!! Things that used to bother you roll off your back and many of the constant worries you have, still come up, but you have a choice whether you want to go there or not. In general, you are just more relaxed, more peaceful, happier, healthier and more optimistic. I was feeling so amazing, i was somehow worried that this feeling would go away. It never did! I have been back to see Lisa a few more times just because I am curious how else I can change and feel better. I don't think I will stop going anytime soon. I think each time you see her you release all these negative feelings and tensions that have been with you for a long, long time. I have changed more in the last few months than in my whole life!
It's something you can't describe, you just have to experience. Everyday I am more fascinated with life and people than ever before, and I believe its because my mind isn't overtaken by meaningless worries. I have more acceptance for myself and others, more compassion for people, more love, more optimism, hope and happiness.
Through working with Lisa, you are naturally more in the present moment without even trying, which in my opinion, is the best/most important thing for any human. Lisa sits down with you for an hour before the session and discusses what is on your mind lately. As a very wise woman, she naturally gives amazing advice, and she uses that information to tailor your session for you. By speaking with her beforehand, somehow all the good advice really sinks in once you go through the meditation.
I advise anyone to at least visit Lisa a few times, you deserve it!!!!
